Correct me if I'm wrong lang..
FerFrans US based cebuano owned firearms manufacturer... own by brothers Ferdinand and Francis Sy... not sure if sila ba jud but im sure nga some of their rifles specially the SOAR are used by US spec forces due to their Delayed Sear Activation System the reduce the cyclic rate during full auto fire... also cebu swat uses their Ferfrans SOAR

there is also Safariland from mandaue owned by Cortes...

officially ang GA mao ang mo supply sa AFP, unless the weapon is specialize, while PNP has option to get from other manufacturer... if you notice ang PNP/SAF ang pinaka daghan ug variant nga weapon...

ill be skeptic on this update, until something rolls out... just like previous acquisition... i think if they do the same concept like MPAC, the next acquisition will be built here locally...

just a plink once sa firing range sa opon sauna... courtesy of cebu swat... somehow i wish i could have one to control rat population on my place...

you must be talking about compensator, it use the muzzle blast and redirects it counter act the muzzle climb.... if you notice mura ug nag bugwak ug kayo... mao nay gi sacrifice to achieve controllability during full auto... i havent seen one firing in full auto thou.... do im not familiar with the ferfrans design... cant confirm weither its compensator.... but as what you describe it sounds like a compensator...

do i know timawan who has ferfrans... firing those in full auto... you dont wanna be the guy beside it nor the guy wearing NVG...

It will be stationed at the Quality Assurance Division of the Gov't Arsenal to ensure cartridges are within military specifications and that it is safe and reliable.

Last Year [December 20, 2012], the first batch of rifles [200 pcs] were turned-over from the Government Arsenal to AFP represented by Chief of Staff General Jesse D Dellosa and witnessed by DND USEC FERNANDO MANALO at AFP, GHQ Bldg., Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo. The new parts used for the refurbishment came from the AFP and were all mil specs made by colt and Elitool. No cost was charged to the AFP.
