    I think dili sa motherboard largely mo-depend ang imong power consumption...the biggest factor there is your processor plus your 4 hard disks...

    Intel Core i3-3220 is rated @ max TDP (Thermal Design Power) of 55W.
    ARK | Intel® Core

    Assuming your SATA HDD are using 12V @ 1 to 1.5 A (pretty safe approximation) then 12 times 1.5 equals 18W (upper margin already).

    4 x 18W = 72W

    therefore:

    Processor = 55W
    HDD = 72W
    -------------------------
    Total = 127W

    Mao ni ako ma estimate bai...nga power consumption nimo.
    Of course the motherboard also uses power as well as the RAM
    and cooling fans but that is signicantly lower than the amount of
    power that your processor uses.

    Real Power is just Voltage multiplied by Current.
    There is also the Reactive power which is the power
    that was not used effectively, but just dissipated as
    heat.

    bro boyett, better, gamit ka'g "Kill-a-watt" meter or equivalent para ma kuha gyud nimo ang exact power consumption nya... except on the "Phantom Load"... depende if maka read ba ang unit for a small wattage like 1 W or less... if dili sya capable, i-zero nya ang read-out which is not correct kay any electronic equipment na naka connect ang plug sa active outlet, mo draw man gyud sya ug current... ok ra hinoon ni if kun naka power "On" ang atoang dapat ma hibaw-an...

    Bro.. big thanks sa info... about sa motherboard nagkinahanglan lang ko nga mo-support ug ECC memory which is walay koy makita sa mga nomal nga motherboard...
