If only we can wish our politicians to stop their corrupt practices and they will follow us. Sad to say, some of them are even bragging about how they waste taxpayer's money.

Actually, it's quite good for us that even if it seemed that Philippine politics is not that stable, (compared to Thailand and Indonesia, we're a lot better, I suppose) the peso continues to strengthen. OFW remittances because it’s enrolment are a factor maybe, but not all of it. We have to give credit where credit is due and we have to take note of the fact that investments are pouring in.

The confidence of the international community with our economy explains why the peso is strengthening.

I think statistics would tell a lot about our real economic situation so Bring on the FACTS. Give links to Factsheets/Statistics instead of just repeating what you've heard from politicians. They talk about our strong peso. Okay. how about INFLATION?

Regarding our National Debt -> http://www.treasury.gov.ph/statdata/...andingdebt.pdf

Regarding the investments pouring in -> ? investments in Call centers business, Hotels...

    bi unsa man gyud?

currency is not the = value of the economy. china whos GDP averages 10-11 Trillion per anum and Japan 6+ trillion per anum are the economic powerhouses of asia. Phil 200+ million per anum (corruption not deducted).

note China is the 2nd worlds largest economy before the US (13+ per anum) followed by Japan. 2007 surverys.
