    Heya Guys,

Spinach Quiche is also great for breakfast, although it takes a lof of time to prepare. you can skip the pie crust and use a toaster oven instead but its an absolutely - must - try for breakfast or anytime of the day!

1 pkg (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
    4 eggs
    1 cup pet evaporated milk
1/4 to 1/2 tsp. ground red pepper
1 pkg (10 oz.) frozen, chopped spinach, thawed and thoroughly drained (or fresh from your favorite market)
1/2 cup diced ham and/or chopped onion
1 prepared deep-dish pie crust, frozen

In a medium bowl, beat cream cheese with electric mixer until creamy. Beat in eggs, evaporated milk and red pepper.
Squeeze spinach between paper towels until almost dry. Stir spinach and ham or onion into egg mixture.

Pour into frozen pie crust. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.

Bake in a preheated 350 degree F. oven on a preheated baking sheet for 55 to 65 minutes, or until a knife inserted in center comes out clean.

    Makes 6 servings.

Variation: Top quiche with tomatoes for added color.

Hala- you're still using vetsin? IMHO - di ba that's a no-no. My sis-in-law mag migraine jud if maka ingest siya ug vetsin even without her knowing. A friend of mine naman mohubag jud iyang lips if maka eat siya ug food with vetsin. Must be the ingredients in MSG.
Seriously though, most Chinese restaurants use them in cooking but if you tell them not to cause you're allergic- they'll comply. I think if maau moluto ang cook- it's oishi ( lami ) even without the vetsin.

^^^ tita d'.... sa cheese nga issue, have u tried going sa "tinder box"lahug, i saw some imported cheese there even greek feta cheese i saw once didto, cold cuts... mild( young) and old jalsberge dutch cheese, blue cheese. daghan kog naikit-an imported foods didto maybe you'll find anything u can use for experiement

my pancake varation good for breakfast would be:

banana pancake, raisin-yougurt pancake, cereals pancake.

    proceedure is so simple:

for banana pancake ---> one or two pcs -- the good ones would be the most "lata-lata" it definitly add flavor but not the obvious rotten ehheheh if nakai blender blend it with a little milk (fresh milk would be good) kung wla jst used a whisked till mushy
together with the basic ingredients sa pancake, mix it in a bowl using hand mixer or a whisked (mkapamaul lang nuon ni). no need to add vanilla since banana already add taste and aroma.
instead of water to dilute fresh milk would be the best.

raisin-yougurt pancake ---> chopped raisin or grind it using a blender add yougurt to your desired flavor. add this to your basic pancake ingredients "no vanilla" well if your yougurt is vanilla flavor, as desired

the cereal pancake ----> you just need to pound the cereals then mix it to the pancake ingredients viola !!! less than 15min to prepare.

better if your frying pan is nonstick ---> fry it in a very low heat kai dali ra kaau ni masunog. when u see bubles poping up turn the pancake. when it becomes golden brown it's done

Nice ideas and recipes. I see that you are a pancake fan too....heheh. By the way, it's "Tinder-Box". Nice place. I get my ricotta cheese from them.

I love banana pancakes... you should also try them with sliced fresh strawberries to make banana-strawberry pancakes. Just had them the other morning, lami to the max !!

I also love apple-cinnamon pancakes. I like to use fresh apples but applesause also does the trick if I am in a hurry (if you use applesauce, you need to reduce the water, milk, or yogurt that you normally use in your regular recipe). Sometimes I will add a small amount of chopped walnut pieces to this recipe to give it an added texture and flavor.
    I'm hungry now... heheh
