check it out avast antivirus bai...lightweight but very efficient...releases updates almost everyday.

im using MS Essentials, very light & effective.

+1 for Microsoft Security Essentials (free and always updated) + Malwarebytes Anti-Malware.

[ChaosOrb]

MSE + updated HOSTs filter = less spam/malware/spyware/popup to worry about.

+ MBAM if you're that paranoid.
