    Mga master I'm really into music, specifically symphonic metal, power metal, and melodic death metal. I stumbled into this thread kay murag daghan2 na ko free time sa office and feel nako magpa-level sa ako istorya account (LOL).

    Anyway, after reading posts in some of the first few pages na-amaze ko kay naa pud diay mga arte ug sound quality pareha nako. Ang misconception nako sauna is if naa ka nindot na headphones/speakers ok nana. Karun pa ko na naa diay portable na amp para mas ma-control ang sound output.

    Now my question is unsa inyo ma-suggest na "beginner" set-up para nako?

    if you want portability, go for IEMs, in-ear monitor.
    like the low price products of Soundmagic, Superlux or Brainwavz.

    also consider Sandisk Sansa for a portable player.
    the size of it is like a matchbox.
    if you can afford ipod classic, then go for that.

    then pair it with Fiio products for affordable amps.
    like the Fiio E07K. its a DAC and an amp at the same time.
    and it has two outputs, so you can share your music.

    just contact bro @fetzhola;
    he has a lot of audiophile-grade products.
    he can also let you test the item first.

    If you can afford it, the Audio-Technica ATH-M50 (about PHP8k) is the most recommended "beginner" headphones for starting audiophiles. it sounds neutral so it can handle any type of music genre. Grado headphones also pairs specifically well with rock. For amps, unless you are a millionaire, Fiio is the way to go. Fiio E5,E07k,E17k,E12,etc.. are very much affordable and highly recommended. We have a few istoryans here who are official Fiio distributors, or you can check out Mobile1 in ayala or Astrovision/Astroplus in SM.
