Networking Problem XP

Mga Bai, Bro, Sis ug uban pa

Pa help.

Naa koy I network nga duha ka PC. Ing.ani ni siya, ang usa kay maoy host sa internet. Si PC1 ni, gusto nako ma share ang internet sa ikaduhang pc w/c is PC2.

Ang Link ni PC1 kay LAN Card -> HUB <- Modem

Ang Link ni PC2 kay LAN CArd -> HUB <- Modem (same gihapon) hehehe

Karon, I used the network wizard to create a home or office network place. Daghan kaayu tog options.

Akong gi select sa PC1 kay siya man ang internet host, kay "This computer connects directly to the internet. The other computer on my network connect to the internet thru this computer.

and then click next, gipachoose ko ug duha ka connections
1. wan pppOE sumting
2. NVIDIA Force controller

Sadly, dili daw siya pwede. Di nako ma next

Sa PC2 kay I chose the second option which is "The computer connects to the internet through a residential gateway or another computer in my network" and gi pa input ko sa COMP description, PC name then inig next domain name. I know nga kailangan same domain name ang duha ang I've done it. Gi turn off nako ang file and printer sharing and click next, then mu load siya for a few seconds and then ingon daw nga I need to run Network Wizard in both PC's. Then there are four options, network disk etc...

Di jud nako ma network, is there something wrong with the hardware connections? cables? configs?

Currently on pldtDSL and when I connect PC1 to the internet, mu dial pako ug something, ang user kay XXXXXX@pldt nya naay password. Among silingan kay diretso na lagi iyaha, walay dial2. PLDT sad to. network ra iya diretso connect hub!

bro u need a router for this problem...thats the easiest way...and for the harder way is activate ur ICS internet Connection Sharing...........naa ni cya sa XP bro...experiment lng kaya ra lagi na nimo.............

kund dili ka ganahan mogamit ug router, gamit ka duha ka lan card sa host pc (pc1) unya ang modem connect sa lancard1 then ang lancard2 connect sa hub/switch then after nimo enable ICS sa lancard1 ip address sa imo lancard2 will be 192.168.0.1 subnet: 255.255.255.0 then input sa pc2 lancard ip address is 192.168.0.2 subnet 255.255.255.0, default gateway and dns will be 192.168.0.1

pa ilisdi imong regular modem ug modem/router sa imong dsl provider. sulbad lagi nang imong problema. maka share pa ka sa internet up to 4 PCs. :mrgreen:
