Palawan is B.E.A.UTIFUL! We stayed at Puerto Princesa. Since we booked our travel from a very reliable person, we received VIP treatment. We rode the van which the local mayor use (ang hangen!) Too bad, we only stayed for 3 days and two nights. In going to Palawan, stay atleast one week.

The underground river is very nice. Kenkoy ung tour guide namin sa cave. Makakapal ang mukha ng mga matsing (they are the robbers on the island) at bayawak dun. LoL.

There are many islands in Palawan. However, we only visited Pandan and Snake Island. Nakakatuwa ung fishing dog sa Snake Island. Just a tip. Bring lotsa bread in going to Snake Island. The fish enjoys eating the crumbs at your fingertips. And oh, bring goggles and sunblock too

i would like to contradict to everyone that said Palawan is expensive. the only thing expensive about palawan is getting to places since the place is so huge.
in El Nido the normal room rates, for two with fan is 600-1000
Sabang , where the underground river is , 300-500
    Coron, 600-1000
check out Cebu Pacific , they have promotional trips to Puerto Princessa, this year I spent only 2400 with return
from puerto to El Nido on a bus is around 200+
from puerto to Coron, on a boat Negros Navigation is 1500
the island hopping around el nido is around 600= and thats maybe 3-4 people already and 3-5 islands
Palawan is roughing it out kind of trip. And I dont think one week would suffice.
And its definitely a must see, for people who loves to travel.
I've been going there for two years now, every summer, and I still cant get enough of the place.
