The Love of God means GIVING you the FREEDOM to Decide on your OWN, Forgiving you if you sinned as long as you repent. Love of God does not Mean for You being a SPOILED BRAT.
I wonder why wala kay Idea what is True Love. The love of your parents to YOU is the same Love God gave to his creation. Being a believer of Science you fail to study and observed the true meaning of Love your parents gave to you.

whatever maybe said about the Love and salvation and forgiveness, the fact still remains that the church is preaching hell, and that you'll go to hell if you will not follow God.. and they are teaching it to children.. imagina kuno ang bata imong sultian nga masunog siya sa impyerno sa iyang tibuok kinabuhi kong dili siya motuo sa Ginoo..

BUT it doesn't at all diminish God's Love and the True message Heaven and Hell conveys
it's never really about rewards and punishment. Both are just mere motivations but not the core message.

Not all Catechist have the gift of teaching and sometimes there are catechist who don't seem to have the passion for teaching(i know it's ironic but naa jud na sila..hehehe)
that's why instead of having children correctly taught about choice,freewill,heaven and Hell and about the Love of God
they end up scaring children about Hell and eternal Fire to instill the oung minds the necessity of Faith in God
instead of the actual message which is the Love of God
Hell is not a punishment but merely a result of the poor choices we make despite of God's revelations.

by the way, Scaring children about Hell and punishment, is NOT an official CHURCH teaching style

a Christ-like Christian who preach about Christianity don't have to be a priest or a person who holds some degree about theology..
but just a simple person who is humble, who has a heart that runs after God...and of course...dunay juy git sa pagtudlo...
like sa akong migo, maayo kaayo mugitara, pero dili guitar instructor material...kung catechist pa to siya, he might have fallen for the traditional tactic(i believe this is unconscious and unintentional by the way) of scaring kids to win their belief..hehe

personally, i nearly trashed the idea of a loving God..i never stopped believing He's there...but just the loving part..
i hated the idea that there is Sin and that we are free to choose Sin ...and if we do we'll be penalized or worse,thrown to Hell

as i've shared in my previous posts...i've witnessed first and second hand hypocrisy in the church at a very young age...
but thanks to some people, i realized that the way i used to see the Church, God and Salvation were not bad, not even entirely wrong but just my point of view
and that there are a lot of other point of views in the market...and suddenly questioned myself...what if i was wrong? what if i wrongfully accused God...
well that kind of thinking would have been the only thing that stops me from embracing Atheism..hahaha...i was like a degree closer for convertion..

it was then that i opened up to the idea that i could've been wrong all along about how i see God...that's all...
and that whenever i question God, Christianity or my Faith...as much as possible...i wouldn't be jumping into conclusions as i did before
which imprisoned me within the walls of comfort from what i used to believe in.

if you permit, you may see Hell as a contradiction to God's unconditional Love, but i think we can both agree that it is just one of the many point of views...

Para sa ako, BIBLE jud. Kung firm jud imo faith sa Ginoo, there is no need for you to explain and this thread wouldn't even exist. You don't have to ask questions cause you know he is GOD; and to Him, everything is possible. Even Einstein gave up in searching for the answers and believed in the existence of GOD.
