saying that God has no beginning and no end and that he has no creator is an intellectual cop-out, an intellectual convenience of some sort,.. i dont even know why i believed in these kind of things before..

of course, with your disbelief...it would be really hard to reconcile these things...for these kind of things requires a little more faith.
perhaps your belief in God before was merely Traditional ('cause it's what most of the poeple around you do)...
otherwise you woudn't have renounced your faith...

besides, a picture can paint a thousand words or ideas on the matter...from different point of views...
i can say there is God and created us all...you can say otherwise...
my statement doesn't prove yours as incorrect and vice versa for we do not know the fullness of the absolutes...
however the claim that God who caused the first cause do not exist, requires a detailed process that would show how everything came in the picture and created everything we see without God...but we both know...till now, wala pa jud na hikaplagi...

however, the idea about a creator has been on the scene since i don't know when..
it still stood strong and no Scientific Proof was able to overthrow it...
Biblical accounts on creation if not taken literally does not even contradict to the Scientific accounts on Creation.
therefore the possiblity of the Bible being accurate in describing how God created everything still stands with respectable strength esp if you're not talking about Scientific process but rather theological or to explain creation in a not so detailed fashion.....more like a shortcut perhaps..haha

When the Bible says, Ang Dios Walay Gigikanan ug Walay Katapusan simply means our conventional Brain or current understanding cannot fathom or understand God. So if we are still here on earth, our knowledge and experience were formed based on whats around US - our planet. Planet that if you compare against the size of the universe is close to Nothing. So if the universe represents the vastness of the Overall knowledge out there, and our brain represents earth - The knowledge we have right now compare to the Overall Knowledge available is Close to NONE.

We cant explain where did God came From - But i believed he will reveal it to us.
