news: why is it bad most of the time?
whether its local or international, as i've noticed, bad news always outweigh the good news. whether its politics (which happens to be almost 50% of the content), business, current events and even sports and showbiz.
does this show how bad the world really is right now? or are we just overlooking the good?

I heard media people don't want to highlight good news because it's not that catchy to their audience. If there are controversies though, the people will surely watch it.
If only we can have more responsible journalists, maybe we can have better news. I'm afraid most of our journalists today only think of how good their news sells. They will not be too wary of the fact on whether it will be useful for us. It's all about the money for some.
