The main problem with mang inasal is Jollibee Foods corp ruined it. They over commercialized Mang Inasal and they do not even bother to properly train their staff... If you have tried mang inasal before it was bought by Jollibee, the chicken was much bigger,even the type of chicken used was better it actually had fat! it was grilled to semi-perfection, but look now?skinny burnt chicken..aw come on!! It all depends also on the branch. At least the Bacolod branches grill their chicken better, at least its not burnt. When I asked the manager of the Colonade branch why their chicken was burnt she gave me the stupid answer that you cannot control the coals.I have to say bullshit, as someone who also cooks and someone who grew up with inasal, it takes care to properly grill anything, much more chicken.
