Allow foreign investment on a fair and equal basis. Don't allow oligarchs to control the nation's wealth indefinitely. Fast-track graft prosecutions through an internationally arbitrated court.

Uhmmm how would a fair and equal opportunity for foreign investments benefit us? I asked because I'm not too sure about that, I'd even think otherwise. If given equal opportunities, foreign investments will simply dominate our industry, our country in general - but they are already dominating it in many ways, aren't they? and that being the case, are we better off?).

When you talk about "our industry" what you are actually describing is a monopoly dominated by a handful of powerful families. Foreign investment brings innovation and competitiveness resulting in better choice for consumers and ultimately lower prices. It is the Oligarchs themselves who love to fear-monger about foreign ownership because they don't like the idea of competing, matching international standards of service or taking a hit to their profits. Filipinos are free to invest in European countries and in the United States so why is this not reciprocated?... Makes no sense in the modern global economy. At least not from the perspective of an ordinary Filipino.

To become business feasible we need
internationally renowned company in terms of global business,
of course if realized these companies would not invest because they
wish to aid us and our supposed developing economy but a venture of
earning profits.
The 40-60 sharing scheme is quite sound if only the other share should
be awarded not to the prominent few but to the amassed average filipinos.
They can bring in their technology and marketing prowess we will provide with
the extra investment and workforce.
