Personally, I'm not too keen on "boyscouts" -- they seem fake.

They did speak some truth to it but I must admit when they
pointed that out years ago, I began to question myself whether
I'm doing things right or not in dealing with other peeps.

However it's a good realization for me and I was able to
tweak things a bit in me but still keeping the real me just
the same

Yeah I've had my share of experiences peeps taking advantage of
my kindness and it's disappointing especially from the peeps whom
you trusted so much. Anyway, that taught me a lot about being
wary of peeps and never to trust too much on anyone that easily
