What is Parkinson's Disease?

Parkinson’s occurs when certain nerve cells (neurons) in a part of the brain called the substantia nigra die or become impaired. Normally, these cells produce a vital chemical known as dopamine. Dopamine allows smooth, coordinated function of the body's muscles and movement. When approximately 70% of the dopamine-producing cells are damaged, the symptoms of Parkinson disease appear.

Symptoms include tremor, muscle rigidity or stiffness, and slowness of movement.

    The Glutathione Connection

One of the main concerns of the disease is oxidative stress. Glutathione helps fight oxidative stress. Glutathione is a powerful brain antioxidant that can have remarkable effects on mental performance and cognition.

Dr David Perlmutter observed what he called the "glutathione miracle" when he gave patients with severe Parkinson's disease intravenous glutathione. Within one hour they were able to stand, walk and move their arms around again normally.

Glutathione is depleted in Parkinson's Disease

Patients with Parkinson's Disease have significantly depleted levels of glutathione in their brains

Depleted Glutathione Levels lead to Oxidative Stress

“Loss of intracellular neuronal glutathione (GSH) is an important feature of neurodegenerative disorders including Parkinson's disease. The consequences of GSH depletion include increased oxidative damage to proteins, lipids, and DNA and subsequent cytotoxic effects.”

Glutathione deficiency contributes to oxidative stress, which plays a key role in aging and the pathogenesis of many diseases, including Parkinson's disease. Scientists have demonstrated that supplementing with glutathione precursors can product beneficial effects in slowing the progression of these diseases.

Glutathione provides many roles in your cells, including ‘mopping up’ harmful free radicals. Glutathione also performs Phase 2 detoxification of heavy metals in the liver, to rid our bodies of toxins such as mercury, pesticides, solvents, synthetic hormones etc.

RiboCeine is far more effective than any other form of glutathione enhancement and is uniquely found in the supplement Cellgevity and MaxOne.

Cellgevity, MaxOne and MaxGXL are ideal for supporting brain function, improving mental clarity, improving sleep, increasing energy and for optimising overall health.

    Bipolar and Psychiatric Disorders

    The Glutathione Connection

Recent studies have shown that individuals with psychiatric disorders, such as bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, depression and other psychiatric illnesses are deficient in glutathione.

Glutathione is the major free radical scavenger in the brain. If glutathione levels become low, toxins can build up creating oxidative stress and cell damage.

Scientific research suggests that oxidative stress is a major factor underlying the development of bipolar disorder, major depressive disorder and schizophrenia.

Glutathione is Vital in the Brain

Glutathione is the major antioxidant and free radical scavenger in the brain and plays a vital role in mopping up harmful toxins. Without enough glutathione, these toxins accumulate and cause cell damage.

In a study published in the July 2010 issue of the International Journal of Neuropsyhopharmacology researchers found that the levels of systemic glutathione were significantly decreased in all psychiatric conditions and that individuals with these types of mental disorders may be more susceptible to oxidative stress and free radical damage.

    Chelator of Heavy Metals

Glutathione has a unique ability to neutralise many types of free radicals and is also one of the cell's most powerful chelating agents, able to detoxify heavy metals, such as the mercury leaching from dental amalgam. These heavy metals would otherwise build up in the brain.

Glutathione is so important that scientists call it "The Defender of the Cell".

    Depleted Glutathione Levels

Glutathione levels decrease with age by around 15% per decade. Other factors such as stress, alcohol, medications, toxins and electromagnetic radiation further deplete the vital glutathione levels.

In addition, exposure to electromagnetic radiation (such as from the ubiquitous WiFi, cordless and mobile phones) makes the blood brain barrier permeable to neurotoxins (such as mercury).

    How to Increase Glutathione Production

RiboCeine is a novel compound that provides an effective means of elevating intracellular glutathione production. The RiboCeine compound combines ribose (an essential component of cellular energy ATP) and cysteine (precursor for glutathione) to provide the cells with the required building blocks for glutathione production.

RiboCeine is the key ingredient in the supplement Cellgevity, which has been shown to increase systemic glutathione production by over 300%. Cellgevity is ideal for supporting optimal brain function, detoxifying cells, improving mental clarity, increasing energy levels, enhancing sleep quality and improving overall health.

is your vitamins/antioxidants powerful enough than what your body already produces? think again...

hear this firsthand from a doctor who prescribes maxgxl to his patients. doctors can recommend health products to their patients but they don't endorse it. it's a different story with max. he is honest enough to admit that current practice is a failure. medicines available today can only address symptoms, not the disease. but now, with max, there will always be a better way than western medicine.

don't deprive yourselves from a better quality of living. good health may be expensive, but try bad health.

(took this video last april, quality is not that good but audio is very clear. patients he mentioned: kidney issue, stage 4 prostate cancer, hypertension, diabetes, mentally-illed patient, 4-month old baby with sepsis and dengue... thanks for watching)

"...22 years nako sa medical practice, i have never seen a product with such a dramatic effect" -- Dr Rubillos.

Is your Vitamin C and E still the trend today? check again... as per pubmed peer-reviewed studies, glutathione doubles the number of studies compared to vitamin c. A confirmation that glutathione, as the master antioxidant of the body, is more powerful than the vitamins you are taking
