I need some help in deciding... I want to get a degree in college that is related to computers. I want to focus more on websites and multimedia. I like to work on special effects, and those other things and elements you see on TV. In other words, a course that is art-inclined -- digital arts, etc. But I prefer taking up a computer course than fine arts. What is the best course for this?

At first, I'm aiming for BS-Information Technology but when I tried to look unto it, I think it's more on networking. BS-Computer Science is more on programming. BS-Computer Engineering is on hardware which is the least thing I want to handle as of now between the three. So, I don't know if there are other courses or perhaps those of you that's already working in their respective fields can shed me some light on the matter. Thanks.

those are all computer courses but then you can focus in multimedia and web design in later years...not all IT/COMSCI graduates are into programming...some became graphic artists, web designers, web and data analysts, SEOs...and a lot more...

you're into multimedia and design so you'll focus on that after you graduated...

Thank you very much for your advises. Ako na siyang sundon jud. Thank you kaayo. Wala man kaayo koy kaila na mga programmers, designers, etc. so wala koy mapangutan-an ug tarong. Pero, naka-decide nako na mag-IT then, hoping, nga maduol-duol ko or mabutang ko sa job nako na ganahan.

I suggest you go fine arts and then self study or attend a basic course workshop on photoshop and after effects. You will definitely know how to achieve what you see on tv.. twas two years ago when studied there, mau man kai less ang student so ma tabangan gyd ka sa instructor. mohatag sad clag certificate wla lang ko kahuman since i got busy. nag self tutoral lang ko till this time nya explore some other software sad video and photo.

kato akoa we started only 3 students. 3T man to akong adobe photoshop once weekly @ 5 hrs for two months kai gi.apil man ang illustrator.

If you want to work on those special effects you see on tv go to bigfoot sa IAFT.... quite expensive though.....
