He actually left since he wanted the show to have have a format similar to that of a cable show. He wanted the show to be like that of Spartacus and Shameless with around 10 or 12 episodes per season. Sadly, ABC won't allow it.

ay mao ba. well, that's kinda impossible with the hype they've been getting. pareha gud sa scandal na tv show pud.. pag-unang season kay 7 episdoes ra. paghype kay 22 episodes napud. magka sikat, magka dako ang demand sa show. mas daghan episodes equals more airtime for commercials, more money for the network and tv show.

Scandal's 7 episodes was understandable since it was set as a mid-season replacement and Revenge isn't. Even before the show started Kelley really wanted Revenge to have fewer episodes than the usual number of episodes in a free-to-air TV show in a regular season block. Originally Posted by cesski

i wonder if kelley's replacement is any good. but to be honest, season 2 is kinda dragging and is kinda "meh".

Ashley is not returning for season 3. I love Ashley but the writers just couldn't write her a good story.
First Declan, now Ashley. Well, I never really like Declan's character. Two series regulars gone. Looks like Revenge is sinking. LOL
