Default tabangi ko pls....I'm Concerned And Totally Afraid For Him

have this friend that i really love...

(he's 4yrs older than me, im 16) parang nag.sasawa na cya..
sabi nya, wala na raw cyang tym for fellowship, Praise Night and stuff... kc... Nursing Student cya... and he's flunking his grades...

tinanong ko cya last night, what does he want in his life... sabi nya, simple lang... just ordinary... ok lng daw na employee lng cya as long na nasa kanya ang bible nya...

im thinking kc, bakit ba kailangan i-give up ang education nya just for things na can be done after college?

i really am scared that he will take the wrong road...

natatakot na talaga ako... i don't want him to end up w/ 1 option- ordinary employee... employee yata ng fast food chains o ano pa...

he's more than that eh... alam ko yan...

a lot of people yearns more than being employees... sinasayang nya buhay nya w/ his kind of attitude...

pls help me pray for him that he will realize the importance of education

i need your advices... thank you...

well first of all, he can stop. and look for a job.. so he'll experience how hard it is working for himself..
after he gets tired of working then he can go back to school.. for a better chance in life

rather than stopping him... you can asked him on his "future" plans... and try to let him see where he is going,..

it's his decision, after all it's his life...... just support him all the way nlang..... Kung san sya masaya, supportahan mo nlang sya....
you can't force him if he really doesn't want the things he's doing right now... atleast you tried to give him advice pero in the end it's still his decision what road to choose.... mahirap na kase baka ikaw pa ang e blame nya kung pakiki alaman mo buhay nya.....

hmmm... stopping school so that one can have more time for going to "fellowship, Praise Night, and stuff". I think he's being very intelligent. Sorry for the sarcasm. Although I admire his commitment to the Lord, he can't use it as an excuse to stop his education; he's going about this in the WRONG way. rennyvonne, you are correct in saying there are others who want to study and get an education so they struggle mightily but your friend has the good fortune to have a family that is PROVIDING him with the opportunity to study (Nursing no less). Personally, I have experienced wanting to stop school and just get a mediocre job but let's think realistically. Eventually a person will think "What if I finished school, could I have gotten a better job?"

I agree with silent-kill and sparrow; let your friend stop school and get a job. Let him realize what he really wants. Just make it clear to him what you are feeling about his decision.

    Lots of luck and Godspeed.

it's his life...all you can do is support and respect his decision...just encourage him with schooling (not to the extent of being a nag) and probably, in the right time he will realize the importance of it...

it's his decision so respect it. anyway, we never know what will happen in the future. maybe God reserves something for him. we really never can tell. so, just let him do what he wants. it's his life. it's his decision.
