I hate spending on phone calls, but I still need to call overseas unfortunately. Is there a way which I can maximize my minutes and yet call cheaply?

use VIBER, local and international calls are free...just be sure that both of you are in the wifi zone and your phones are compatible with the application...just google it or you tube.
Or use Line, it's lovely, free calls to anyone who has the application.
yes, I am still looking for some other ways... I think viber is good, but the problem is I'm also calling my grandparents. they're old and cannot use cellphones.

Hi, everyone. So I thought I'd introduce a new application to you guys as a replacement for Skype. Before I used Skype all the time to call my parents overseas, but I realized that I wasn't using all my minutes every month, it’s a waste of money So I looked for alternatives. And the alternative I found is Global Call. It pretty much just gives you a flat rate per minute, and that's it. And it's pretty cheap. And you get $1.50 free trying it out. It's on Android too.
