if your planning to build a monster rig,,,, you don't have to ask question about electric bills.

as i am planning to build a pc... one of my concern is the electric consumption of the pc... i want to have an idea on how much i'm gonna pay for the electric bill every month [pc consumption only].

Actually di man na monster build. mid-end pc build man na xa.

Then there was never a rule to not to concern yourselves about the electric bill regardless of end sa build.

^^ I think what he is trying to imply is if you have the resources to buy a capable rig, it is taken that you wont mind the electric bills. The same as if you'd purchase a muscle car, you wont mind the gas.

yup, kasabot pud ko ana...kay murag buying something just for luxury mana... but in my case, buying something for (kind of) future proofing... gusto man pud ko maka dula sa mga latest games in the next 4 yrs or so without sacrificing so much the visual quality sa game... kay i'm afraid nga if low-end or mid-low-end pud ang paliton in 2-3 yrs time kinahanglan na mag upgrade ug parts, worst case naa anang mobo,vc or proc X(... sakit kaau... so maong au ug advice ug research2 ko sa parts nga pamaliton with this things in mind (power consumption,future proofing, quality) a.k.a bang-for-the-buck (pwd pud EQ = economy and quality )

yup... sample for graphics card .
HD7770 ==> 80watts max. (so, roughly in 5 hrs 400watts max. imong consumption sa graphics card lang which is around 4-5 php at this post time)
compared to...
HD7950 ==> 200watts max. (so, roughly in 5 hrs 1kilowatt max. imong consumption sa graphics card lang which is around 11 php at this post time)

anyway... mga later this month or june or july pa ko makapalit (kay di man diretso mu tunga ang kwarta, tigum2 ug singil2 sa mga utang pud pag may time ) so research2 ug ngayo pa advice samtang wala pa kapalit ... hulat2 pud basin naa mga sale labi na sa karun june nga ang uban shop mag back-to-shool sale man usahay

^^Taya ng 18hrs ui.. Sobra na gani para nako ng 9hrs/day email2x lang, kana pa kahang 18hrs straight duwa.. Hands up ko nimo bro..

300w steady load for 12hrs straight is excessive. 200w mas duol sa kamatuoran..

mga 2years ago ni brad. Unya ni 24/7 pa jud ning CABAL PH nako kadtong nana kooy Cabal Rider. Kanang 18hrs manual play na siya. Pag bot nako kay wala nay Off ang pc, kautot jud lage sa bayranan. Suko kaayo akong mama ato kay kaming 2 mag share sa bill.

i think okay na ko sa 3570K bro... kay mao man ni xa recommended kaau for gaming nga at some point greater pa xa sa 3770k sa mga bechmarks in terms of gaming... nya for future proofing purpose pud K-series kay if mo abot ang time nga mag lisod na ang proc ug daog sa games pwd ra ma overclock... i think ang 17watts nga difference (i3-3220 vs i5-3570k max TDP) kay reasonable ug tolerable ra in regards to the benifits nga makuha.

kini nuon ang graphics card murag ga libug2 pa jud nuon ko between radeon HD7770, HD7850, HD7870 ug HD7950... tapos kinda looking pud sa nvidia geforce gtx560ti, gtx660 ug gtx660ti (nindot pud baya ning physx nga feature) kaso sakit man presyo... so ga timbang2 pa ko ani nga part based sa ako needs and conditions.
