    There's a way to unlock the phone without having to resort to a hard reset. You don't need to have a rooted phone for this to work, but it's more effective if it is. First you need a PC that has ADB installed and a USB cable to connect your phone to the PC. Also, your phone needs to have USB debugging enabled. If you don't know whether that's the case or not, just give it a try to see if it works. If you're able to get into ADB shell, then USB debugging is enabled and you're good to go. Once you've got everything ready, do the following:

    1. Turn your phone on and connect it to the PC using the cable.
    2. Open a command prompt, then enter the following:
    Code:
    adb shell
    cd /data/data/com.android.providers.settings/databases
    sqlite3 settings.db
    update system set value=0 where name='lock_pattern_autolock';
    update system set value=0 where name='lockscreen.lockedoutpermanently';
    .quit
    3. Reboot the phone.
    4. In the command prompt, type the following:
    Code:
    adb shell rm /data/system/gesture.key
    5. Reboot the phone.

    If a pattern lock still appears, try a random pattern. If it unlocks, the congratulations, it worked.

    no need to connect into pc.. not sure about the process on the lg lang ha but you can try pressing and holding the home button and the volume down button all at the same time and while holding the two buttons down.. press and hold the power button.. 3 buttons and see if it'll reboot to reset your phone...

    though if your successful in doing so... there's a big big probability it'll erase all your data inside.

    Yeah, I'd rather not make assumptions. Maybe he actually does have usb debugging turned on, who knows? In any case, it's still good information to post, in case it proves helpful for anyone with similar problems who sees this thread. A hard reset is such a drastic solution that one shouldn't have to do if they don't need to.

    Oh, and here's one other thing you could try (in fact, you should probably try this first): Since your phone is asking for your Google username and password to unlock but you've forgotten your password, why not try access your Google account from a PC? Use the forgot password feature to try to reset your Google password, then once you've done that, use the new password on your phone. It's worth a shot.

    Thanks sa ideas mga boss. I have already fixed it. Wala jud lain paagi since usb debugging was off, I had reset it to its factory settings and wiped all data in it. Lahe2x jud diay og reset keys ang phone depende sa imong cp unit. In my case, it was the power button + volume down button + the unknown "G" button ( I don't know what's the use of this button but it was marked G). I turned off my cp and pressed these 3 buttons and held them down at the same time until I saw the reset options.

    Good to hear you've got everything settled. It's too bad you had to do a factory reset, but if you've got your phone synced with Google, then at least your contacts should still be there. You might want to look into getting some sort of SMS backup feature, too, in case you need to do another factory reset (knock on wood).

    Regarding the unknown G button, that's the Gesture UI button and it's a pretty big feature on that phone. If you hold it down, you can perform certain gestures without actually touching the phone. For example, if you tilt the phone left, the screens slide left and so on. Here's a video of the Gesture UI in action (yes, the phone in the video is a different model, but the feature is the same): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9rECsC5GeFo
