But sometimes I feel that these people (foreigners) have the guts to do that because we did not develop a backbone. We never had imposed our authority because we are always afraid, and always apologetic. Even the foreigners in our turf have the guts to malign us and we still basically allowed them to.
You have a point too. However, we can't at all times take that mind set to all foreigners.
Whatever the reason for incident there may be, it has to be judge fairly. All circumstances should be taken into consideration.
Our feelings ain't gonna prove these foreigners maligning our nation. Killing them upfront won't cause peace, but war.
If we take anger as a shield to show off to these nation -that we, the PH citizens are brave enough to fight back, then we
are causing our nation another danger of captivity, just like what happened thousands of years ago.
A peaceful yet legal way of judging this issue will determine who made the mistake.
