your PC's monthly electric bill

as i am planning to build a pc... one of my concern is the electric consumption of the pc... i want to have an idea on how much i'm gonna pay for the electric bill every month [pc consumption only].

as i've finished my setup almost a month ago and finally received my electric bill... just want to share this...

CPU: i5-3570K (stock clock)

HDD: 1tb WD Black Caviar

Total wattage of the setup: 150-170 watts per hour (based on my observation everyday i consumed around 1kw/h per 5-7 hrs of use, idle and onload combined.

Kailangan man gud kag wattage meter anah bro. kay lisod iestimate pila ang gikuha nga power sa imong powersupply gikan sa wall.. mag.agad pud nah if under load bah or idle

^^ agree ko kay dili man ka ang computer ang nag gamit ug kuryente sa tibuok balay. naa may mga suga, electric fan, ref, tv, ug uban pang appliances na gipang gamit daily.

basin diay naa kabalo... like if ever makabuild nako... mostlikely ang pc setup + electricfan ra ang appliance didto bhouz... libre man ang kuryente sa lights kay wala gi include sa submeter.

Around 300-400php/month for 2hours heavy gaming with a 200w VC + 4hours light usage daily..

ako na try nako ang gipang gamit ra kay 3 ka suga then tag 9watts+tv 45watts+ electric fan 45watts+ computer (300watts system unit then 50watts sa monitor = 350watts) then ang computer running almost 16-18hrs a day straight for 2-3weeks.

nag bill ko ug php 1,180 sa usa ka bulan.

ako man gud sulayan ug calculate boss... pero di ko sure if sakto ba ni...
let's assume always on load ang pc...
let's assume total usage in a month kay 500hrs (arround 12-24 hrs a day usage)
let's assume 700watts/hr consumption... (psu 650w + 50w others)... mao ni ang di ko sure if mag base ba sa psu wattage gamiton.
round of electric rate in cebu... 5.30 php/kwh

500 hr * 700 w x 5.30 php = 1,855 php (monthly)
1000 w...................1 hr

if in ana sakit kaau sa bulsa....
