how to update os?

thats a very broad question.

first, what is your phones make and model?
second, what is your current android version?

and btw, there are alot of ways to upgrade android OS basta naa ka ug needed na files.

for the Galaxy Ace GT-5830 you can update it to ICS via a custom rom but it won't as simple as point and click. >.< I can update it for you but I charge 300 for the update.

my friends phone is asking for the gmail account that is after her niece tried multiple times to open the android.
she could not recall her gmail account.
can you tell if what is the best and easiest way to resolve such issue? let's mind she is not technical enough.
