Yes, indeed A.S. Fortuna is packed with Japanese restaurants from each side, its amazing.

Kagura, is indeed nice and the only flaw that I found in this place is the Sukiyaki, the tofus in it were a bit humongus, a bit unproportioned. But the taste was still good as it were in any place.

Ha-Nya in Asia Hotel is also good, thats where I always go when I have late night cravings, because it's a 24hr one.

Earlier this afternoon me and my friend wanted to go to a japanese place and have tea, our choice was Chibori, the one in IT-park. It was a bit expenssive from the rest, but the salmon and tuna sushi just melted in your mouth, the seafood was indeed first class. Now about the tea, it was very fine as well, theres no other good tea compared to the one that you have under a rainy weather, no matter where or how expenssive you got it, hehehehe. Though they open on 11:30am, then closes around 2pm, then opens up again at 5:30pm until late, daily, I guess.

please share ideas as to how much one would spend good for 2 pax, like on a date or something.
im pretty much interested to try it out but a little intimated of the price.
dont want to go there and end up using my plastic in paying instead.

Just bring a good 2-grand with yah. Estimating that your girlfriend is cautious with her appetite or even eats like an 8yr old, because most of 'em are like that you'd sill have P500-P700 for change, if you and your date's going for sushi or sashimi. But, if you go for something like ala cartes like bento or something like that, then you'd end up paying P800-P1k. All these with drinks already included, ofcourse.

My pick is yumeya kihei. Fresh sushi and each dish can stand on its own jud. I've tried a lot of japanese restaurants here and so far they have the best beef tepan.

Yeah, its in Pacific Square. Above it are some apartments, where my girlfriend used to live. I havent been there, but she has. Shes say's that its good there also. Try it out!
