Yes I did some hosting stints in school and at work.
I tried once in a resto-bar before when I used to be in
Sales. The host shove the mic to me on the spot and
    made me as his co-host.

That was the first time a guy came up to me and asked
for my number... But I was so naive that time that I
panicked and walked out on him lols...

Tried being an emcee before in school, couple of times. Understand and know more about the program and what is it for, do some research about sa imung mga guest, have some mini games para lingaw then with prizes too, also share some ideas/tips/learnings/quotes ug uban na pampa-spice up sa presentation na makalearn sila with it coz dba if a person learns something from you they will surely remember you.

God Bless Ms. TS, kaya mo yan. Practice2x lang sa imung kwarto sah.

In organizing your speech, see to it that it has an interesting beginning because it is the part that catches the attention of the group. To get the group's interest, go directly to the topic and make your thoughts clear. Emphasize the important idea. Make the conclusion as effective as possible. If you can construct your speech well, there is no reason why you cannot face the audience confidently, no matter how big it may be.

Choose words in common usage. Avoid high falluting words that are only understandable to a chosen few. Make your language colorful by using imaginative and descriptive words. Be specific at all times. Don't give abstract examples, lean more on the concrete ideas. In other words, use appropriate language suited to the occasion and the audience. Avoid trite cliches and hackneyed expressions.
