you know US still uses some vietnam era hardware... even the B-52 is still in service since the 50's and still going until 2016...

no significant news regarding our AFP's modernization.. this is the exact opposite of what they been doing last year.. (press releases left and right)..
however I'm am confident that our DND is still doing something despite the absence of news.. here's something I can share though.. from the SIPRI Database.. wherein the Philippines is indicated as the recipient and USA as the supplier..

Modernization is like letting large amount of money just like blood in the water and when there's blood ang mga buaya maka simhot dayon and the Philippine government wala mag nihit ana
