Correct! Nothing better than to feel and talk with an air of supremacy using the english language! bwhaahahaa! At the same time I use it to talk condescendingly to my enemies, disliked people and the like. hahahaha!!!Originally Posted by vern

Mga bro I'm a proud Filipino pero dili na ko Filipino ron and that's only on papers but my heart and soul still is. Speaking English as our second language helps so much Filipinos worldwide. Nobody would hire nurses in the states if dili ta kibaw mo inglis, there would be no call center based here in the Philippines if dili ta kibaw mo inglis.
There's nothing wrong with speaking english pero if kuyog ta ug mga bisaya, let's talk BISAYA! hehehhe!
Ako mga anak are all born here in the states pero ako dyud tudloan bisaya coz that's how proud i am with our dialect.

Anyway, I have no problems with people using English with me. It's cool.
Feel free to talk in English, BisLish, or TagLish with me.. HAHA. ^_^
psychologically, it makes me feel more superior than others..
there's nothing wrong with speaking english... but you have to know when is the appropriate time and place... for example, if naa ka sa carbon, morag hilas pud kaayo if mag-english2x ka sa mga tindera didto
English is one of our advatages. We may take a look of the rising call center business and language schools in Cebu. Basically, to know and speak the language (English) is to comply to the requirements of the corporate world. if we are open to the contribution of knowing more than 2 languages, Filipinos speaking English around isn't bad at all. it's also their individual right and expression. We can't blame these Filipino English speakers since it's widely taught in schools. Whatever constitution is stating about our native and second tounges, I still believe that each and everyone has the freedom to choose their language.
You may want to consider on how cebuano or visayan language has evolved with the creative minds of the "third ***" community.
