hehe i think that would be common sense. main reason is that they have prorietary interfaces. unless they would follow nvidia's proposed standard MXM which some laptop manufacturers are already using. meaning, if you have a laptop that supports MXM, you will have good options of upgrading it to a better MXM video card as long as it is the same type (I, II, III usually for power requirements) -- upgrading video cards would be just like upgrading memory in MXM compliant devices.Originally Posted by spookey
