It's true. The Iron Lady film brings home that point... from the most powerful woman in the world to a face in the crowd. It must be a strange transition.

"Watch your thoughts for they become actions. Watch your actions for they become your character; and watch your character for it becomes your destiny."

"People don't think anymore, they feel. One of the great problems of our age is that we are governed by people who care more about feelings than they do about thoughts and ideas."

--- Some of the best lines from the movie "The Iron Lady". She has done so much for her country. She became Prime Minister of a Britain whose economy is dominated by trade unions who demand illogical wage hikes and an economy with very unproductive & unsustainable sectors such as coal mining in the north. Margaret Thatcher was the only person who was manly enough to have the balls to institute the necessary reforms that the UK badly needed. In order to live, even if the medicine is bitter, do we withhold it and risk further illness or even death? The Conservative party was not placed in power to facilitate the fall of Great Britain. She was one leader who was less worried of her career rather than creating positive change for the country she so lovingly served.

Filipino leaders should take the cue from Maggie. Careers are less relevant than are the progressive policies you can do to help serve your country; to not be driven by what has been, but by philosophy and what can be done to make things work for the better,

You have already made your mark in the archives of history --- The Iron Lady. RIP Margaret Roberts Thatcher.
