wala'y connection ang PLDT ron? lapu-lapu area here!
Your DSL speed is not guaranteed if it's residential DSL. The only way to have a consistent DSL speed 100% of the time is to get a business DSL plan which will cost you a lot more. To tell the truth, 1.1 mbps at 999 is already a great deal considering what you're paying for here in the Philippines.
pero sir.
why man nga karon lang ni nahitabo nga speed nako?
since the last upgrade(2-5years ago), i've got constant 1.5mbps speed.
karon lang ko kasuway aning sigeg tawagan para mobalik ang normal speed.
and btw, 999 is for dsl only(plan excite / not bundled), not included pa ang phone.
I don't know why that is happening. Maybe line quality has degraded, or there are more subscribers in your area; who knows? What I know is residential DSL speed isn't guaranteed. Maybe you got constant 1.5 before, but it was never a guarantee. Learned that a long time ago with my DSL connection. It's supposed to be 3mbps, but I get 2.0-2.5mbps on average, sometimes 3.0mbps. I will complain if I get down to 1.0-1.5mbps.
Cheers!
