well aside from the korean language itself (if you bought it with stock OS pa)... some if not most of it's built-in apps can be use only tied up with it's Korean carrier... and if im not mistaken lang.. most have DMBs.. TVs which terrestially some built-in apps enable you to connect the phone and pay premium internet fee so that you can pay per view channels.. ony and when your in Korea.... IT does not apply when your planning to use it here of course...
chipset bands are implemented for korea's band frequencies as well...

As for me ligun jud ang korean phones using one of the lg smartphones and so far no problems.
I let my 2 year old play with it all day and the only problem is mahugaw ra ang glass cause of fingerprints.
