Good question, these products have garnered good to great reviews all over the net, you get mostly sound quality.
Going for a more serious brand and well-reviewed product(esp. in Head-Fi.org - Headphone forums and reviews for audiophiles) for me is a safe buy, but it would still depend on your preference. That is why as much as possible I have test units on most items for you to test

Sony MH1c is certainly up there.. the hailed "king of value" in in-ears.. Even though Multitudes have been satisfied but some few people says it does not work for them for being bassy. (Like in my experience some prefers the Brainwavz R1 over the MH1c upon testing.)


Sennheiser px100II: another product which has been recommended for mainly a cheaper but great performing portable headset.
