TS are you just going to school because you mom wants you to go to school and you don't really like to do thesis because you just don't have the passion to do it? then it is not you passion to do programming then quit before you do it the rest of your life.

Chances are this is their instructor's fault.
Giving the students a lengthy code without explaining first how to use BSF, BCF, BTFSS, etc... is foolish.
It's the most basic instructions in assembly for mcu's!
Can you teach mathematics to a child without first teaching them addition and subtraction??

The irony of it is that thesis making is suppose to be about applying what you have learned in college.
Just my 2 cents.
