asay mas dako og chance maka kuha og trabaho?

asay mas dako og chance maka kuha og trabaho?
BSIT or BSCS?
depende sa paningkamot na bro..
I also made a thread about taking up com sci.
I also did my research , ang comsci daghan ug fields ma abtan. Pwede gani ka mag hacker if ganahan ka.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but anything under Computer softwares pwede mabuhat sa com sci labi na if maynlaki ka.
Pero after all my research, I decided to take up Computer Engineering - Major in Software Engineering.
Naka realize ko nga mas bagay ang Computer Engineering nako kay nindot kog Logic and analogy.
Mas nindot sd daw kay naa kay title, so there's a bigger chance for companies to choose you.
Kung mag Comsci ka bro nya USC-TC. Kita lang nya ta
So here's the scenario.
You are a boss of a big computer company.
There's only one available employee slot.
In your hands, you hold two datasheets.
On your left hand, Someone who graduated from Comsci which is a 4 year course.
He/She is skilled in programming languages like C, C++, Html, Java and all the other programming software out there.
On your right hand, Someone who graduated from Computer Engineering which is a 5 year course.
He/She is skilled in programming languages like C,C++, Html, Java, etc and also skilled in Hardware.
So you think, Would the Computer Science graduate be better in software since he only specializes in Software?
You ask them both to make a program.
The result will be probably be the same but the program made by the Computer Engineer is cleaner and more easier to understand since He/She also knows about Hardware.
So, in your honest opinion. Who would you choose?
or let's say their programs are exactly the same.
You would still probably pick the Computer Engineer since He/She can also work on things Hardware related.
choose an area that you are really interested in
Studyante pa jd guro ka nu?
that is not how the real world works dong,
obviously there is no two person with the same set of skills and specialty, tawn oi asa man ka anang imo example
If I were to choose between the two, its not just on the course graduated but also on experience, projects made, interest ug batasan.
so being Comsci and/or Comeng with SE major does not really matter.
The most likely person that will be hired is the one that fits the available position,
there is a reason why COMENG with SE major is different from COMSCI (Duh, pangalan palang gani lahi na, sa curriculum pa kaha and specialty),
heavy data structures and algorithms are discussed in comsci that is actually used in real world, COMENG with SE do not discuss such things, pero it has also its specialize subjects.
sus, kung makakita lang mo sa ako greatest dreams sa amo YearBook. haha.Pero +1 napud sa Comp Sci.
Guys,please keep discussing
