    Intriga ko ani ba...

Before lalis ta anang abortion thing...

can we set kng at what time of development sa child na matawag ug abortion?...

    * the time kng ang sperm ug ovary meet?... we'll they're just cells, and every second cells die in our body... so what the big deal about it(IF we consider as that).

    * time ang bata gains consciousness?... if thats the case, brain devlpment doesnt occurs at least for a month, and even then it wouldnt be called consciousness

    * first beating of the heart?... if so, pwede ta mka abort under 15 weeks (i think) since kana na time man ma develop and heart.

    ... just my 2 cents...

There's only one way to define abortion. It depends on when human life begins. That's the real question.

Human life begins at conception. To say that it begins at any other point in the development of the child is arbitrary. We are all developing all the time. The process is continuous. The conceived child cannot become anything else. It either dies or becomes a human being. Not a cow or mouse. It is human.

The fertilized ovum is NOT just a bunch of cells because unlike other cells that are expendable, if you destroy the fertilized ovum you destroy the entire child in the womb. Cutting off a finger doesn't kill a person or halt his/her development. But destroying the fertlized ovum kills the child. All development stops.

Consciousness is not a good test either. Many adults are not conscious at some point in their lives. Some are temporarily in a coma. Some lose consciousness. consciousness is not a relevant test for human life.

    I agree with that...

As to what systematic persons think, we should focus on the root cause...

Why not focus on giving seminars to people who need...Family planning for example...This should be an unending project of the government...Each barangay should have this project at least twice a year...
