we might won't see much of sheed vs ben. the bulls might prefer putting tyrus thomas on rasheed wallace rather than ben wallace. tyrus thomas brings in youth and athleticism and ben wallace is a lot better manning the paint rather than going one-on-one. chicago needs ben wallace's insde presence for defense, intimidation and rebounding. and this series might let tyrus thomas get out of his shell, his playing time was limited against the miami heat.Originally Posted by fha
both the pistons and the bulls have great and competitive starting line-ups and stars, and both plays excellent defense. loaded with veterans and keeping most of their championship team players, the pistons poise a serious threat for the bulls experience wise. chauncey billups, richard hamilton and tayshaun prince are playing consistent basketball at both ends of the floor, and that spells a lot of trouble for prized bulls stars ben gordon, luol deng and kirk hinrich. one bright spot i see from the bulls is their bench. they have a lot better and deeper bench than the pistons. andres nocioni had an impressive performance against the miami heat averaging 12 points and 5.5 rebounds a game off the bench in 25 minutes of play. plus the bulls have chris duhon, tyrus thomas and thebo sefolosha coming off the bench too. it seemed detroit is playing one sided basketball, their bench has not been as productive as before. antonio mcdyess, the pistons' top sixth man only managed to pile up 5.5 points a game against the magic.
the bulls are still too young for the pistons. this is exactly the same story during the late 80's and early 90's. the differnce, chicago don't have a michael jordan potential while detroit has much less bad boys (sheed in exemption). chicago might need more tries before knocking the pistons out in the playoffs.
i'd go for the pistons either in 6 or 7 games
gikulata ang bulls sa detroit 95-69
bro, detroit drew first blood.....will they be able to bounce back and regain the momentum? i think i will be seeing detroit in the conference finals and for that matter in the nba finals as well..

Dili apil ang playoffs bai. regular season MVP, giving all players equal period of time to show what theyve got.Originally Posted by makoyvelasco
