Seems this is already outdated but anyway I'd like to share my sentiment on this TS...

Your friends just shared a common idioms for single lass or lad...that's the usual way how people react or giving a remark to someone dear to them but on side note they all want you to be happy and not to be picky.

If I may ask TS have you been in a relationship before? or NBK, NBT? just curious because this will be my basis on how to give my insights.
