Default Re: Any SLR-like digicams nga ma recommend ninyo?

I think that after you've used the 'SLR-like' digital camera, you'd actually want to get a DSLR. While advances has been made to make point and shoot cameras (I'm including bridge cameras in this category) to increase their IQ, they have yet to truly match the IQ and flexibility of DSLRs. In the long run, it'd also be cheaper to invest in a DSLR because of their longevity.

There are also many ways to manage the 'bulk' of a DSLR - weightless straps, battery grips, grips, and using prime lenses instead of the heavy 2.8 zooms.

I do want a decent point and shoot though because I don't carry a DSLR with me everyday. I'm just hesitant to buy them because I know they will be future paper weights. The Samsung ST30 seems like a good buy though. Because of its size and very low price, people pass it up but based on some reviews and actual photos, it's actually pretty good. Just don't trust the LCD daw

I recommend panasonic lumix lx5/ or lx7 very good quality and bright "leica" lens. You could also check on panasonic lumix fz series (fz47, fz100,fz150,fz200) these are megazoom/bridge cameras superb image quality again with "leica" optics. i use the fz47 for 1 year before leaping to dslr i learned a lot from that camera. you can also check fuji x10 classic design with superb image quality you can check reviews. implaning to buy a fuji x10 as an every day camera.

Agree jud ko ani bro, i once used the bridge mega zoom from pansonic fz47 thinking it would be my first and only camera but after a year i realized i need the control and flexibility of a dslr. pero depende jud sa gamit if family events ra ang shootan enough na guro ang bridge/ advanced point and shoot. but if after jud is like portraits, landscapes, sports and etc dslr all the way jud.
