have u encountered this virus? any suggestions?
nagsugod sa isa ka client workstation, ma detect sa symantec corp edition anti-virus ma clean or ma delete niya, pero pag restart sa PC mubalik napud ang service hosts iyang gina igo svchost.exe then later part na noticed nako nagsulod na sa LAN pati servers infected na..same ang svchosts ghapon. any idea? daghan mabasa na removal procedure sa net e.g. sa registry pero wala man pag check nako. client OS=XP/Vista Server OS: 2000/2003

try ug tan-aw sa registry bay nya i delete nya tan-awa pud sa system32 nga folder nya i manual delete....

try ug nod32 nga anti-virus nindot ni siya gaan pud nya try ug hijackthis nya i post diri ang logfile kay basin naa maka analyze diri o tabangan nato....

sa workstation ako gibuhat..padagan nko ang hijackthis og ubang procedure...so far ok man..natanggal man gyud cya...ako wori karon sa server side...though natanggal pag run sa symantec anti-virus unya kung ako scan usab wala naman..ang ako kuyawan lng basi pag restart sa server..naa lng ghapon..dili pa man gud nko ma testingan restart ang server labi na busy kaau. kabalo bya ta ma restart lng nato og kadlawon. isa pa ako na worihan basi maka apekto sa akong mga application naa sa server og muhinay pud ang performance..cge man nko gina monitor nuon karon.

bai try using Kilbox but first thing you must identify all the files associated with that virus, and remove it using killbox,,e timing lng ug ka-adlawon para pag restart nimo wala na gyud ang virus, e clean imong server using ccleaner at safe mode...gud luck

dli man kaayo na effective ang killbox bro...i tried that but mubalik ghapon inig restart...ang killbox gamit rna siya if nadisinfect na jed ang imu pc and protected na then manual delete nlng kulang...try using "antivirenkit 2006"...but im not sure if it would work on your pc coz it didn't on my couz's but worked on mine...just google it bro...or pm me if you badly need it...it might help..(i hope)

hi guys salamat sa inyo advices medyo wala pa nko na testingan kay busy pa gamay..na try na nko ng killbox og ccleaner sa vista og xp workstation and so far nangatanggal man..sa server wala pa..symantec lng ako gigamit did2..og wala pa nko na testing ipang restart...schedule lng nko isa2x puhon...murag dugay2x na processo gyud ni kay naa ko 4 servers na 24hrs ang gamit wlay downtime the rest pwde ma shutdown og kadlawon.
