pc. of advise: avoid tables for the layout of your webpages. use CSS. get Mozilla Firefox browser and install the Web Developer extension from addons.mozilla.org :mrgreen:

My advice is focus on learning CSS, and just a little on Flash.

Flash is a good starting environment for web dev/design.. it is fun(because it's animation), and easier than any of the other web stuff. Once you know Flash, and you are still interested in web dev/design, you could take up what the others here have said, it would be easier.. trust me, I know from experience.

Learn CSS and XHTML first, and just a little on Flash. Why?

CSS and XHTML is bandwidth saving, can be accessed easily, SEO friendly, saves production time and money.

Flash is the exact opposite of the four facts i mentioned above.
