Anyway, I don't know if this is true, but my friend and colleague in San Carlos John Delfino, (first place champion in tv ads this year. Bravo!) submitted a Skimboard docu in RCTV long time ago... he said it was only in Video CD, it ran for 20 minutes and I don't think the guy has a 3CCD video extremist camcorder... With the above posts, I'd say John was pulling my leg, unless someone has encountered that skimboard docu or Mr. Delfino himself then...

u can make good fil/video using any cam
pero since e TV mani sa RCTV not all viewers appriciate the quality
mao na nga kailangan CLEAR & CLEAN ang pwede e pass ( 3ccd quality or much better 24p pa gyud )

@pero ka sabot sad ko not all cebuano filmakers can afford a 3ccd ( bisan ako mag problema na palit og ordinary mini DV ) but we can all barrow or rent at a affordable price (ex. studio 123 in colon)

Unya pila nang D.A.T. or magnetic tape lang para audio? Pwedi cassete na TDK unya karaoke mu'y gamiton para sounds? hahahahah.

Oh, I have both Vegas 4.0 and Vegas 5.0 na...
Very userfriendly, I don't even use the trimmer often, I just drag events on the timeline and shorten them or extend them by pulling them sideways...

but my colleague said na walai real time rendering ang Vegas. Adobe Premiere ra daw....

pero Vegas 5.0 has Network Rendering services.

Vegas is "more real-time" than Premiere Pro, IMO. Adobe lags behind in terms of real-time preview and effects. Maayo ra gyud ang Vegas. Peru I still prefer Adobe hehe..

The trimmer is really useful uy. Katong "pulling sideways" is para sa mga short clips lang peru kung taas na kaayo imu clip, the trimmer will be useful.

Mao ba? Paspas bitaw mu-render ang Vegas. Basa .AVI lang ang gamiton for output, unya basta dili grabe ang parameters...pero kung na render na daan as AVI bisag daghan parameters, naa lang ka usbon sa file. Render pag usab once again as audio video interleaved, paspas na daUn na...
