This patriotic pride is common in every country.. we just made a label on it..

.........choosing a pope is not a bet so it is not a game "won." the word should have been "choosen".... if Cardinal Tagle would have been choosen it is normal "especially" to Filipino "Roman Catholics" to be proud......and now that a new pope has been choosen and not a Filipino, are "we" still not proud of being filipinos? ( PROUD they are of the Pinoy cardinal had he won.)?

Well it's true dili na exclusive sa mga Filipino pero at least sa ubang nationality ang kanang pride nila they tend to keep it to themselves!
Ug dili nimu sila makit-an sa youtube or facebook nga magpost ug "i'm proud to be korean/japanese/syrian/iraqi" if ever man gani makit-an nila ang ilang mga kababayan nga ni sikat sa laing country!

Whereas sa mga Pilipino nga grabe! Wagas kung maka i'm proud to be pinoy comments sa facebook ug youtube basta makadaog si Pacquiao or naay exposure si Charice sa Glee. Nya wa sila nag huna huna nga dili man na nila achievements para musulti sila nga proud sila as pinoy.

Because if you wanna be proud to be a Filipino you should earn it first! Di kay magsakay sakay sa mga achievements sa mga sikat nga Filipinos abroad.

we share the same sentiments sad, hasolan sad ko anang sobraan na.

example: nag duwa ko WoW ron, naa guild nga pinoy sa akong server giduwaan nga basta maka tiwas ug raid mo shagit "pinoys are the best in this server" - take note, daghan naka tiwas before them.. ok ra man unta nako nga naa'y comments here and there pero ang uban sobra.an ra sad ka OA nga halos d na mo accept ug criticism.

Mao jud. Balat sibuyas jud ang mga filipino, they can't accept criticism. Dapat iaccept ang criticism wholeheartedly di kay magbaws baws na nuon labi na sa online community.
