Ang among grupo sa ACE kay nakakuha pud ini didto sa southern Cebu sa una ug naa siya sa care ni Dingo Spike kay expert siya sa brackish fishes. Mao ni ang among kuha.

This is a picture of a Freshwater or Brackishwater Frogfish (Antennarius biocellatus) in my hand. We spotted this guy and another Frogfish in Badian, Cebu in the part of the river where there's strong water current away from the river mouth. They were well camouflaged at the bottom but didn't quite escape our eyes. I had second thoughts of holding this fish, considering that they're related to Stonefishes that are poisonous, but the moment I held them, they were soft and lacked spines in their fins, so they turned out to be safe to hold. I learned when we got back to the City that these fish are known to be poisonous when eaten.
