Celibacy is NOT a doctrine, nor a dogma of the Catholic Church. It is not a thing of belief, but rather a form of DISCIPLINE among ministers.

"there are eunuchs who have been so from birth, and there are eunuchs who have been made eunuchs by men, and

there are eunuchs who made themselves eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven
    .
He who is able to receive this, let him receive this"

    (Matt. 19:11).

Priests as exemplars of Christ has vowed to live by Christ's example of chastity (celibacy in particular, as practiced by Christ), obedience and poverty.

This discipline CAN change if the Pope decrees so, otherwise it is binding to everyone who enters into the ministry of the priesthood. Priests are NOT forbidden to marry, and the Popes have been generous in granting dispensation to those priests who want to continue their vocation as married members of the Church.

However, they cannot offer Mass, but they can serve the Lord in their current capacity as lay members.

FALSE. Martin Luther was a Catholic priest yet he dared question the the Catholic Faith and made a monument of himself by inventing the Lutheran Church, where he can decreeand command to the people whatever he thinks is the correct interpretation of Scripture. He likewise threw away books of the Bible and made the people believe that he has

celibacy can be a choice and for others, it is a gift. so, kung requirement na nga celibate ang musulod og pagka-pari, nganu MU-ENTER PA MAN ANG DI KAKAYA OR WALA GASAHE? not really all the time that we can bend a practice according to our whims.

pwede man gud mag-missionary or tentmaker just like Paul, di man kinahanglan nga mag-pari jud para makapakaylap sa MAAYONG BALITA.
