Thread: OS Windows 8

  1. #351

Good pm fellow Istoryans. I've been using Windows 8 for almost 2 months na, and so far I had no problem that time. But 3 days ago lang, I can't connect with the wifi na, I thought ang router ang naay problem, but I tried unplugging & replugging it again but it's working just fine with my iPad and iPhone. The wifi icon (at the right button corner of the home screen) shows a "red X mark", off daw ang wifi.. But I tried turning it ON pero dili xa ma ON, naka "greed-out" xa. I hope you can help or atleast give me an idea on how and what to do with this one. Thank you!

Hi bro, are you using a laptop? please check if you accidentally disabled the wifi setting sa imo unit. its usually located at one of the function buttons. when you see the this with an antenna on it with a small LED light, try pressing it one time and check if x on the wifi will disappear.

in my personal opinion, Windows 8 is better than the other OS by Microsoft. It's faster and the UI looks great. There might be some dragging on the OS when you first install it but after all updates are installed, the OS works fine. What I don't like lang is after you install it, there are a lot of updates which is very annoying lang. But everything else is fine.

If you are not having fun with Windows 8 then you are not using it. Im just saying..

it is very common issue sa windows 8 kanang wifi... if try adto sa PC Settings > Wireless > Wireless devices ON

UI ray nag nindot sa windows 8 unya bloated ang UI...

Vista is for XP, Windows 8 is for WIndows 7.... if you want stable windows go for windows 7... over hyped ra ning uban...
