how to share one printer in a network of computers

make sure pud on imong host pc kung asa naka connect imong printer kay aron likay sa ka libog hehe.. palit nalang ug network printer mas dali.. pwede pa sharing pud sa scans ^_^

hello mga sir... tried the set up as said in the link above... nka work group na tnan...nakita na ang printer sa work group na detect sd siya kung mu search nmu ang printer.. but when i tried a test print unta gi butang sa MS Word "EPSON L100 ON PC1" Un able to connect.. unsa kha possible problem ani..

actually daghan ug way,
1. printer server- e attached na siya sa printer din e set up nimo ang ip address para distanation sa imung pag print
2. personal printer - naka attached ang printer sa PC din if na network na ang PC. ad2 sa control panel, printer, then right click properties on selected printer, e share to network. if ma share nana sa network ang printer..
makita nana siya sa ubang PC. just type the IP address kung asa naka connect ang printer. ex: \\ 192.168.254.??. nig sulod ana makita na nimo ang printer, din use printer as default..

pwede ra adto ka sa imung Win8 devices and printers then i right click imung printer then printer properties then sharing tab
then share this printer click apply then OK..
determine ur IP using CMD> ipconfig

then kadtong gusto mo print nga PC using the printer installed from win8
use "run" click windows logo + r... type \\(ip ni win diha makita nimu ang naka share nga printer ni windows8.. i double click lang.. then if mosulod na.. automatic ma add nana sa printer and faxes ni windowsXP and Devices and printers ni windows7.

note: if mo failed gani... try to turn off ur firewall.

I share lang ang printer sa host computer... Setup lang sa uban pc sa winxp open lang workgroup if naka workgroup nya find the host computer nya find the shared printer then double click .....

yes bro ' "T.S. Workgroup sa tanan computer dapat the same... then sa windows 7 adto sa change advance sharing then uncheck and password able in network then and check discoverable ... ^_^ G.L. " mao na ni TS ae..... ambot sa WIN8 kai win7 ra ko.... ^_^ sunda ni TS.
