Game 1 phoenix defended Kobe madly pag 2nd half..so unsa may buhaton sa player if double teaman?? I.pasa sa libre nga teammate, but still he's teammate can't finish. most likely why Kobe will take a force shot cos his teammates will just stand still and watch him finish. If only their is a designated 2nd scorer sa iyang team... odom is injured right now (shoulder and legs), walton (ankles), kwame (ankles)...an experience rookie guard (Farmar) perhaps?? Then that will take a lot of loads on Kobe's shoulder.
thats where kobe's leadership is in question. kobe and lamar odom has been teammates for the past 3 seasons, and so far no lamar odom improvement so far. if we compare it to jordan and pippen, pip came to the nba averaging 7.9 points a game in his first season and never started a game. but he almost doubled his averaged the next season until he became a legitimate star. we cant rant about injuries because its part of the game. i bet if pippen is injured too, he'll not be playing like lamar odom because he's got michael jordan who will push and motivate him. in short, michael jordan is not limited to stats, awards and titles but also impacts on his teammates. he simply makes his teammates better. as for kobe, his stats is the only thing that keeps on getting better season after season, we never see any major improvement from his teammates. inconsistency is killing the lakers. why? because during the regular season it was an all-kobe show and his teammates wasn't able to build enough confidence. radmanovic and smush parker are good players, andrew bynum had a great start but eventually faded out, jordan farmar is a great college ball player but it seems he's not really a factor for the lakers.
i say kobe is still in the learning process. its just his 3rd season that he's on his own, he grew up as an nba player under daddy shaq since his rooie year. he's still young and theres still a lot of time for development.
