^ not ayn's, but frederic bastiat, thomas jefferson and ludwig von mises'. I believe utopia is a term incompatible with free market. Free market promises no assurances. Fail or succeed at your own risk or reward. It is a myth that government or any centralized authority can somehow plot a better course (by minor tweaks of the law or through aggressive legislation) of progress for the millions of citizens who have endless number of actions, preferences, and beliefs that changes from time to time.

And okay, Christian Democrats diay ni. Well, I do not believe in your ideology and I have my own. Maybe I should also form my own party. hahaha.. But I give you plus points for forming a party based on ideologies and not personalities though I still am uneasy with your party's choice of guests.

Then that defeats the whole purpose of implementing the free market. If it's another economic system that breeds the same inequality that we have in today's system then it's another inhumane system I don't wanna take part of.

Libertarianism, the communism of the 21st century. Take up a few units in Psychology and you'll know the free market is a pipe dream.

O Rly? Tell that to modern day Scandinavia. Heck, tell that to Singapore. But I digress, this is off topic.

The free market is not an equalizing system. It contains inequality, suffering, and inhumanity. There is no system that is humane in its fullest sense. It's just that the free market gives the people the wheel to chart their own lives. A fool can remain a fool, rot and die as a fool. The persevering and wise can reach to what ever star he can achieve, keeping what he earns to himself and keeping off the hands of the undeserving from reaching into his pocket.

inspite of being off topic, you decided to comment anyway. That is really attention seeking, isn't it?

Yes, Libertarianism can become communism, if you want it to define it that way. Nothing much i can do.
But, if we are talking about the libertarianism as defined by Bastiat, as defined by Mises, as defined by Jefferson, i doubt you can still make that comparison. Singapore will suck the life out of you. Yes, it is progressive. But singaporeans are among the least happy people on earth. Too much government will make you feel like a chess piece. The goal is not to make a government rich, but to allow the citizens to pursue their own tragedy or success.... I am not into patriotism, having this incessant need for one's country to become great. I am a libertarian, having this principle of "mind your business, as i do mine." Come to think of it, patriotism is the communism of the 21st century... nah, whatever.
