bottomline: depends on wat you intend to do with the psp.. if you intend to just play original games and go with the built-in features then go ahead and buy the latest version... but if you want the ability to run homebrew games and appz, ps1-ps2 games, run emulators, etc. you should buy a psp with a version of not more than 3.03(at the moment). Then try to find someone to downgrade the version and hack it up to a hacked firmware to get extended features... dont try doing it yourself or you might end up 'bricking' you psp making it entirely useless and currently unfixable..

NOTE: if ever you get the 3.03 or less version, dont ever press the NETWORK UPDATE option. That would update your psp to the latest version thus busting your options for downgrading..

bro adto lang sa psp gathering... bago palang sad ko sa psp nako... at least makasturya nimo ang mga nakasuway na ug downgrade and stuff.. at least well informed ka before ka mupalit kay murag mahal gyud ni na toy dah hehehehe
